Why do I need to belong to a Legal Plan?

If you had a legal problem today, would you know whom to call? As a member, your matter will be assigned to a primary provider attorney who will call you to discuss your legal question or matter. Certain preventative legal services are available at no extra charge. If your legal question or matter requires more comprehensive legal attention, your primary provider attorney may assist you further, or your matter may be assigned to an attorney according to your location and the area of law in which you need assistance. In either case you will be eligible for significant discounts by the attorney working with you.

How do I pay for membership?

You typically pay for your membership on an annual basis by using your personal check or major credit card. The first year membership fee to join the AmeriEstate Legal Plan is $150.00. Annual membership renewals are $99.00.

What is the effective date of my membership?

Your plan takes effect the date the application and subscription fee are received in our corporate office.

Are there any pre-existing conditions or other exclusions?

No. you can access your plan benefits immediately, even if you have an existing legal matter.

Are my dependents able to take advantage of my legal plan membership?

Yes.  The named member’s spouse is covered as well as dependent children up to the age of 19.  Children up to age 23 are included provided the child is a full-time student.

Must I renew my membership in the legal plan every year?

AmeriEstate Legal Plan membership renewal is entirely your choice.  Enrollment in our Extended Protection Plan (EPP) on each plan anniversary ensures that all the valuable benefits continue.  Members often comment that being with the legal plan is like having an attorney on retainer for just pennies a day.

How much does the Legal Plan cost?

To enroll in our legal plan, the cost is $150 for the first year.  Prior to the expiration of your plan, you will be mailed a renewal for continuance of the Legal Plan at a discounted price of $99.
